I will be HPC registered in about a year and its incredibly tempting to do locum work with the pay being twice what i would get to start with in the NHS – \re the disadvantages no pension or career pregression?

I’m 18 and hopig to go to university in september 2011. I would like a career in Journalism and I am looking for tips which might be helpful to me. I am looking into work experience in the summer.

Write to lots of newspaper publications, whether national or local. Maybe even the BBC they do do some sort of work experience thing. The worst that can happen is they can say no. Don’t do journalism at uni, something like english lang/lit is far more valued then that. Or even something like politics of it interests you as you could go into political journalism.

It has to be inexpensive and relatively easy to use. Schoolkids (~15 years old) will be using the recorders to record interviews with adults in a local history project.

Hi there! Last year I completed a foundation degree in art and design and passed with distinction. Initially i was planning on becoming a set/costume designer or a special effects person. However, during my gap year this year, i’ve developed an interest in animals and wildlife. I’m therefore unsure about what career route I’ll choose in future, but figured perhaps i could combine both my passions?
If anyone has ANY idea how i could achieve this, then pleeeeeeease do get back to me. I’d be extremely grateful

I am trying to find some kind of work at home job so I can start earning the money I need to move out of my parents’ house. I currently have no source of income, and can’t really afford much of a start up fee. I would prefer a data entry job, but at this point, just about anything would work.

Does it depend on how successful ur adverts are or how far promoted you are or both or how imaginative and creative you are or…………????

Basically can anyone give me any information about taking a career in advertising? For example is it a well paid job? Im starting A levels and am just finding out about different career paths.
