How best to train for a career in accountancy without building up loads of debt?

My son is looking to go to university in 2011. He is a good mathematician, physicist etc., but in this day and age he wants to study for a profession rather than just studying a ‘subject’ at university. He has come up with the idea of accountancy. What would be the avenues for him to get into this without incurring loads of debt at university while he goes about it? Any suggestions? Or indeed, any other career paths?

I always did my homework and studied with no problem. However, over the past few months I’ve been losing my motivation to do so. If this keeps up, I’m screwed. Any tips? Oh yea and don’t give me any of that “Bro just do it” crap. I’m asking for motivation not shut the fuck up and do it, ok?

I am interested in starting a career in systems development or programming. Can anyone tell me the best route into these careers – if a home learning course is useful or do you know of any trainee schemes? I live in the South East of England. I cant afford full time education as I have a wife and baby to support, so I need to be earning while I learn.

I have a BSc in Computer Science from overseas but I would like to get certified in the UK.

try get into a company called zenos you get all the qualifications needed to be able to work for microsoft its a government apprenticeship scheme and you will gain £100 a week in doing so. it doesn’t cost you anything you learn to build a computer as well as how to program them ETC.

it takes 1year to complete but well worth it.

I don’t quite know what I would be good at and I have to go to college in like 2 years and I kind of want to have a rough choice of what I would be good at so I just wanted to find a career quiz but I can only find complicating ones I have a bad understanding of words because of learning disabilities. I made my application trought UCAS to enter in the university next year and already began to receive proposals from some Universities to go to interviews and i will have my first interview next week.I want to go to all the interviews first and in the end chose the best for me but i dont know for example if in this first interview i have to tell them straight away my decision.What you think?
